This page explains how we research provider data, apply scoring, disclose affiliate relationships, and update existing content.
Review standards
- Every comparison is grounded in official provider documentation and product pages.
- Scores are based on one transparent methodology across FX, ATM costs, currencies, features, and pricing.
- Regional and plan-specific uncertainty is treated as a confidence reduction, not ignored.
- Affiliate relationships do not change ranking logic or scoring weights.
- Content is reviewed when a provider updates pricing, limits, card terms, or feature availability.
Data sources and update policy
We prioritize official provider sources for product terms, fee structures, and feature availability. Third-party references may be used for context, but provider-owned documentation is treated as the source of record.
Pages include review dates where relevant, and rankings are recalculated whenever a meaningful change is detected. If a detail cannot be confirmed, we avoid presenting it as a hard fact.
